UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center
Founded in 1992 by Edie Loeb-Tomasko with two riders and a borrowed horse, UpReach sits on 96 beautiful acres in Goffstown, NH. We have grown to serve 60-70 students weekly in varied programming, with 12 equine partners, 4 full-time and 4 part-time staff, and over 120 active volunteers!!
MISSION: UpReach is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the physical, emotional, and psychological development of challenged children and adults through progressive therapies, specifically those centered around the horse.
VISION: Through providing high quality therapeutic riding and driving lessons, UpReach strives towards excellence in its field. With the help of our equine friends, we are dedicated to enhancing quality of life for those we serve, by providing challenge, promoting independence, and celebrating success.
Horse Wish List 2011
Our very happy herd extends their deep appreciation to everyone who helped make their holiday wishes come true!! A great many things on their lists appeared under our tree, or have been purchased with the funds donated for specific items. Just a few of the happy horses we have been seeing around the barn include: Lila happily trotting through the fields and her lessons with her new set of shoes, Abba is handsomer than ever in his new royal blue halter, Oliver is delighted with the new hoses to deliver water to his favorite distant field, and Boone will continue to have a happy belly thanks to the many donations of wormer, to carry us through the next few cycles. We are fortunate to have so many friends who give to our horses during this season, and all year through. Some folks have been asking about items on the wish list that were not received. If you are interested and able to keep making wishes come true, please consider any of the items listed. The actual item, or money for its purchase, will be greatly appreciated by all at the barn, horses and humans alike. Our deepest gratitude to those who help keep our herd happy & healthy!! Calendar Cards 2012Thanks to everyone who sold and purchased UpReach Calendar Cards! The money raised from this annual fundraiser supports vital programming. We appreciate your support and congratulations to the raffle winners!
