UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center

Founded in 1992 by Edie Loeb-Tomasko with two riders and a borrowed horse, UpReach sits on 96 beautiful acres in Goffstown, NH.  We have grown to serve 75-80 students in varied programming, with 14 equine partners, 4 full-time and 4 part-time staff, and over 120 active volunteers!!

MISSION: UpReach is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the physical, emotional, and psychological development of challenged children and adults through progressive therapies, specifically those centered around the horse.

VISION: Through providing high quality equine assisted learning programs, UpReach strives towards excellence in its field.  With the help of our equine friends, we are dedicated to enhancing quality of life for those we serve, by providing challenge, promoting independence, and celebrating success.

Saturday May 17, 2014 – NH Autism Walk and All Abilities Festival, 1-7pm, to benefit the NH Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders and UpReach in collaboration between Ready, Set, Connect and the New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities. This event will be held at UpReach and include: a Walk-A-Thon & scavenger hunt, pony rides, live music, wine tasting, a silent auction, art exhibit, vendors, food, and more! Friday June 6, 2014 - UpReach's Annual Demo Night - an evening not to be missed!  Held 5:30-8pm, this event celebrates the accomplishments of UpReach participants.

Saturday April 19, 2014 - Horses 101, 10am-1pm, Enhance your horse knowledge by joining us for this clinic! We will focus on the inner working of horse herds, how horses communicate, how we communicate with horses, horse instincts, What to do if a horse reacts to its natural instincts while in hand, and how to effectively put all these tools together to more effectively handle horses in Hippotherapy and therapeutic riding lessons!
